What the call asked of nations

The organisers' call (Convocatoria/Invitación), published on this domain in 2012, set the rules for entries. Seniors were gymnasts aged 17 or over in 2012, and each nation could enter per sex up to four gymnasts in trampoline, two synchronised pairs, four in double mini-trampoline and four in tumbling. Every gymnast needed a valid FIG licence.

  • Each nation had to bring at least one FIG-qualified judge per discipline it entered, or pay USD 1,000 towards a guest judge.
  • An age-group competition between clubs ran alongside the seniors, with up to 100 gymnasts per country.
  • Deadlines: provisional entries 12 September, final entries 26 September and named entries 24 October 2012.
